FOX IN A BOX, 9min., Comedy
Directed by Alicia Casey
Moments before the biggest game of his life, Adam, a country football player, is furious at the sudden arrival of his over-bearing Drag Queen alter-ego, Foxxy Moron. Tensions rise as he seeks to keep her hidden from his testosterone-filled teammates, which proves to be difficult in all her fantastical, glittering glory. Adam’s team is losing, and the eccentric Coach Dick urges the squad to find trust in each other; a sentiment that Adam can only come to terms with through the guidance of his loud-and-proud counterpart. In crunch time, Adam comes out to his team, not only as gay but also as a drag queen, and is delightfully surprised by the acceptance of a group of burly men he had been fighting to hide himself from all this time.
