Cuídate follows a mother, Rita Medina, who is an engineer as she works from home, late one night, on a project. While she works, the racket of the ominous city outside her window plus a radio broadcast of the death of an innocent black child fuels her own fear for the well-being of her son, TJ Medina. She struggles to remain focused and accidentally fries the circuits she is working on. Rita finds calm and motivation through a photo of TJ on her desk and continues to work through the night. In the morning she presents her work to her son with hopes that it helps him navigate the world.

On the surface seemingly no issues but once peeled back the pages of her employer, Winning Magazine, we get to see why Naima feels the way she does. Naima’s coworkers might not deal with issues the way she does, however, we question are they as happy with their jobs as portrayed.

The Source is an inner journey into the repressed memories of a young boy named Tommy, haunted by a young girl whom he does not remember and who has been disturbing his private life for some time. Through a session of hypno therapy guided by his psychiatrist, Tommy is immersed in a created imaginary world, in which he will have to find the trace of this young girl, who will guide him towards different objects, in order to try to unravel the mystery of this enigma.
