Pearl was my thesis project. A project challenged me as a young director and young film maker. It has a lot of factors and a lot of elements, old actor, minor, VFX, SFX, beach scene and so on. I knew it wound’t be easy. But I believe in this story and I believe that challenge could help young filmmaker grow fast. So thanks to my awesome crew, we made this short film.
I hope this film could deliver the information that love could conquer loneliness. The true love must include pain and sacrifice. But at the end, love will make us stronger, and we will learn how to let love grow free. And that is the most important thing for me.
